RSGB Convention 2010

The RSGB Convention 2010, to be held between October 8th -10th 2010 is to be held for the first time at Horwood House near Milton Keynes. Among the outstanding presentations planned are:

- The study of Coronal Mass Ejections from the Sun by space scientist and Sky at Night presenter, Dr Lucie Green

- Amateur Satellites - history, techniques,operational, under development and thank you RCF! by Dave Johnson, G4DPZ, AMSAT-UK & AMSAT-NA

- The next step in low temperature VHF and up Yagis by Justin Johnson G0KSC

- Deep space reception on 8.4 and 32 GHz by Paul Marsh M0EYT

- Sporadic E - An update on the prediction research by Jim Bacon G3YLA

- SDR: An Introduction with particular reference to VHF and above by Simon Brown HB9DRV

- Design of linear amplifiers by former Peter Chadwick G3RZP

- Introducing the AIM4170 antenna analyzer by Ian Wade G3NRW
